Hemp Affair was founded in 2018 by Arpit Agarwal with a vision of serving the environment by promoting a highly eco-friendly textile. We believe that all it takes is a few changes, such as substituting a few commodities in our daily routine, to fulfil our environmental responsibilities. Our research thereby found hemp as a potential plant we can rely on to carry forward our dreams of sustainable development.
If we want to cross the ocean, we cannot always run to the harbour whenever there is a storm. And that is the reason we need to build a boat that is strong enough to hold still. From what we have known through our research, hemp is the boat that can help us cross the ocean. With employees all across the world, we are passionate about incorporating hemp into people’s daily lives.
As a result, we at Hemp Affair hope to offer the handloom industry a fresh start by bestowing a game-changer known as hemp fabric upon it. We envision a comeback of the handloom by locals utilising hemp fabric, bringing the concept of sustainable growth closer to reality.

We strive to be your partner in eradicating global warming by introducing fabrics which are highly renewable and 100% biodegradable. By choosing Hemp Affair, you are doing your bit towards global warming because industrial hemp absorbs more CO2 per hectare than any other crop which means you are being responsible. We produce highly renewable and 100% biodegradable fabrics. While growing, the Hemp plant detoxifies the soil by removing harmful chemicals and pollutants from it. Comparatively, hemp requires half the amount of water than cotton, to produce the same amount of end product i.e., fabric.
